A Nice Find

Overall, good property and a nice stay. First, two small concerns. We visited during a hot part of summer and, with no AC, the place remained a bit uncomfortably warm (though many fans were provided). Second, kitchen layout is a bit strange with sink far away from cooking area. Neither of these are deal-killers as the positives overwhelmed these two concerns. Positives include comfortable beds, a nice layout for larger family, master bath is very good, a hot tub and deck that are easy to use, good views from the decks all around, well appointed kitchen (lots of good dishes, pots, pans, sharp knives, basic herbs/spices/sugar/flour), and plenty of extra bedding. This house would be an excellent destination in fall/winter and we are likely to return. Finally, it’s obvious that the house is an older one that’s reasonably well maintained, though like most older homes, it will need continued TLC.
