24/7 Response Team

Our internal home maintenance staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To save you on expensive diagnostics or repairs, we send our maintenance team out to troubleshoot prior to contacting an outside contractor. Many repairs do not require the need of costly contractors. Our team has years of experience handling a variety of issues and can perform preventative maintenance and needed repairs at a much lower cost.  We know when it is better to repair an item than to replace it and will always share  recommendations with you. If there is a costly repair (Over $100), we will contact you to be sure you are in agreement before we proceed with the work when possible. In emergency situations,  we will proceed with completion and let you know why it was needed. If professional repairs are  required, we contact trusted vendors that we have worked with for years. We typically receive a  discount from them for our years of working together and with so many homes. We are proud to pass 100%  of the savings right on to you. 

Regularly Performed Maintenance

For regularly maintained items, we have a monthly list of maintenance we perform. Smoke and carbon dioxide detectors, filters, winterizing, and many other items are spread throughout the  year so that the cost can be spread out as well.

Housekeeping

Our homes are professionally cleaned after each stay. We charge our guests a cleaning fee to cover the  labor and cost of goods required to clean our homes, which varies based on the size of the home,  number of bedrooms and bathrooms. Peak times see a higher fee as labor costs tend to be higher. Owners are charged a lower fee based on what rooms they used and whether or not they cleaned the home themselves. Guests of owners pay the same as a typical guest. Twice a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall, our crews perform a complete deep clean from floor to ceiling and create an inventory of items in the home making sure it is up to the par  level required by our standards. Deep cleans also cover carpets, upholstery, windows and blinds as needed.

Linen Program

With Cascara, if you don’t want to worry about your linens, you can use our top-quality sheets,  and towels from Northwest Linen at no cost. We’re proud to partner with another regional family-owned business who cares about the needs of our industry. Each sheet is bar-coded and scanned with each wash and thrown out after a set number of washes to retain  quality.

Many reservations come from online bookings these days. When guests call, our well trained reservation team knows what it takes to sustain a high level of rental activity in the homes we manage. Our team knows it is better to focus on your annual income rather than nightly rental rates. We selectively make reservations to the right people, at the right time, at the right price.  

We won’t rent your home to just anyone.

Our conversations with potential renters are not only to assist them the perfect vacation but also to hear what is not being said: The questions we ask at  the point of sale lead us to the actions we take. We check histories of past stays for proper placement and perform research learning who they are and where they live and what they are  coming for. If in question, we will even research their activity on social media sites to ensure their character meets our requirements. Each renter must sign a rental agreement accepting responsibility for any accidents or damages that occur while staying in your home.
