Welcome to The Cabin at River Pines! Enjoy all the comforts of home in a tranquil, wooded setting! Savor your morning coffee under the pines while watching for deer from the front porch rocker, or sip wine under the stars in your private hot tub.

Some popular guest activities while staying at The Cabin at River Pines:

• Take a quick bike ride to the Marina on the Deschutes and go for a swim
• Sip hot cocoa in the hot tub after a long day playing in the snow on Mt. Bachelor
• Toast marshmallows by the fire pit (Winter - Yes; Fall/Spring - As allowed; Summer - Not Available due to Fire Risk) - There is information at the home regarding the proper and seasonal use of the fire pit. During Summer, fire risk is too high for use.
• Spend the afternoon shopping and dining in Sunriver Village, then escape the crowds and return to the quiet cabin
• Take the kayaks or canoe up to one of the many amazing lakes nearby
• Take a leisurely tube float down the scenic Deschutes River

The kids will stay busy with all the games both inside and out, puzzles, books, DVDs, Foosball, off-street basketball hoop and ping-pong. Take a bike ride through the quiet neighborhood on one of the many bikes we provide. There’s a private marina just a short bike ride away, four Deschutes River access points (one of which is a 3 minute walk from the cabin) and a 40 acre riverfront nature park with walking trails nearby.

The large circular driveway has ample space for your boat, RV, Snowmobiles, or ATV’s, making this log home a great base camp for all your Central Oregon Adventures. Just 5 minutes away is glacier-fed Fall River, which is world renowned for its stellar fly fishing and beautiful Falls that are a short 1/2 mile hike from the parking lot. Golf, shop, swim, dine and play in Sunriver less than 10 minutes from your front door step. Less than an hour’s drive gets you to all of the popular lakes in the Cascade range (Crescent, Cultus, Odell, Crane Prairie, Twin Lakes, Elk, Waldo, Lava, Wickiup to name a few). Mt. Bachelor is an easy 25 minute drive for some of the best skiing in the Pacific Northwest. This home is ideally located to take advantage of all that Central Oregon has to offer!

Our cabin features Air conditioning, high-speed fiber internet, five HDTV’s featuring Roku and Sling TV, and a front load washer and dryer. The four bedrooms feature: King (up), Second King (up), King (down), 2 Sets of Twin Bunks (down).

Sleep in luxury! All seven beds have been upgraded to comfortable memory foam mattresses.

The kitchen is well stocked for home cooked meals, featuring stainless steel appliances, coffee pot and grinder, blender, crock pot, waffle iron, and plenty of dishes and utensils. The large dining table seats 10 comfortably for group meals and games.

We love our dogs and yours too! There is an additional pet fee so please let us know if your dog(s) will be vacationing with you.

After you book a reservation, as a security measure for you and our owners, we will be sending you a Verification Request via our partner, Guest Ranger. Please complete it as soon as possible so we can verify your stay. If we cannot verify your stay, we may cancel your reservation.

Any time you book with us, but not on our site, for simplicity’s sake, we have combined all fees into a single group. That group can include Cleaning, Resort Fee, Card Processing, and Hot Tub maintenance (all when applicable). The Service Fee is the booking site's fee, not ours.

The large driveway was nice with the basketball hoop, and bikes in the garge unit. We had trouble finding the river access but eventually found it, just a few miles down the road. "Wood Duck Log Home Aug 9 – 14, 2024 Overall rating 5/5 The log cabin house was perfect for our extended family of 9. The 2 sets of bunkbeds in one of the downstairs bedrooms were great for the 4 kids, and the downstairs family room with foosball and TV kept them busy in the mornings until the adults got up. The kitchen was very well stocked, the king beds were great, and the large tub in the upstairs bathroom was wonderful. The house sits back from the road with a long driveway which gave the kids room to bike without going out on the street. Also loved the basketball net, ping pong table and magnetic darts. My favorite thing was the large table in the kitchen that easily seated all 9 of us for dinners. We were busy hiking, going to the SHARC pool, going to the Lava Lands and Crater Lake, but when we got home each day, it was a very comfortable, relaxing place to unwind and just enjoy. There were a few lightbulbs in the ceiling that would blink on and off occasionally, but other than that, it was awesome. Thanks! "Wood Duck Log Home Jul 4 – 7, 2024 Overall rating 5/5 This has one the best stays I have had in so long in United States. The Host was amazing and she did help with all the issues or anything that we were missing, she helped us with those. I am delighted to say that I have used everything they had listed in Amenities for the guests and they have taken care of access to Marina and everything is to your eye sights and well maintained. We loved the fully outfitted garage with bikes, basketballs, kayaks, canoes, and a ping pong table. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. "Wood Duck Log Home Mar 1 – 3, 2024 Overall rating 5/5 This was a wonderful stay! We were lucky to get to enjoy the hot tub while it snowed. Play Pac-Man and Foosball during downtime. Even had bikes to ride in the snow! The house itself offered so much to do we only did one thing on our weekend plans outside of the home. Also, we (all 7 guests) attempted to get the coffee pot to work to no avail, reached out to Cascara and they had a new one delivered within a couple hours! Super responsive and so friendly. We more than enjoyed our stay!
